Pet Enrichment

Enrichment is an essential part of keeping shelter pets mentally and emotionally healthy. It helps reduce stress, encourages natural behaviors, and improves overall well-being while they wait for their forever homes.

This training will cover different types of enrichment, how to safely provide it, and why it matters. After reviewing the material, please take the quiz to check your understanding. You can retake the quiz as many times as needed, but you must score 100% to pass. Your efforts help make every day a little brighter for the animals in our care.

Some trainings are optional and serve to expand your skills, while others are mandatory before you can participate in certain activities, particularly those that involve direct animal handling or specialized care or knowledge.
